Italian illustrator Martina Pellecchia’s work revolves primarily around illustrated book covers and editorial design. She also excels at creating illustrations for children’s books — a field she feels deeply connected to. She loves creating images that speak to the reader even before the words do. Her images evoke intrigue while telling stories through balance, poetry, and a strong narrative sense..
Martina believes that illustration is much more than decoration. She views it as a visual language in its own right—a powerful bridge between content and reader, able to convey mood, tone, and emotion at first glance.
Many of Martina’s clients have been for European publishing houses. These include:Terra Marique Publishing, Rusconi Publishing, Ippogrifo Publishing, Giunti Publishing, Scienza Express Publishing, Armenia Publishing, and many more. She has also grown her North American clientele working for companies such as Observer Media, Bloomsbury and American Society of Landscape Architecture.
